Though not a part of the "staff", the booster groups benefit the entire district. Pellston Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) and the Pellston All Sports Boosters work hard to raise the funds needed to supply some the of extras that make such a difference.

Attention Parents:
Sports Boosters will once again pay your transportation fee for your athlete if you work in the concession stand. We paid out over $1,000.00 for the 2006-07 school year to cover fees for all our workers. This helps us out by always having workers to cover the concession stands and we're always happy to help out our athletes and parents. So watch for the form from your athlete's coach to sign up for this great deal.

Sports Boosters Report:
Once again another Sporting Season is upon us. Who knows where the summer went?

Here is a list of some of the things Sports Boosters did last year:

• Paid $1,100 on transportation fees for parents who worked in the concession stand for their athlete.

• Sent the JV Volleyball team to Camp Daggett.

• Paid to have the pitching machine fixed.

• Over $18,000.00 went to the McClutchey Field Improvements.

These are just a few of the things that were done in 06-07. We have many things planned for this year starting with a Sport Kick Off breakfast on Saturday, August 25th, Craft Show in November and many, many concessions stands to cover. ADVERTISE YOUR BUSINESS!!

Beginning with the FAll Sporting events you can advertise your business during a Pellston home game. For $50.00 per event the announcer will plug your business and a sign will also be displayed. There is no limit to the number of events you can choose however only one advertiser will be featured per event. You can pick the date and sport, which you would like to advertise. All proceeds will go to the Sports Boosters. Please contact Connie at
