Secretary: Ron Wolford

I have served on the Board since 2004. My current term expires in 2008. During my tenure on the Board of Education I have served as Trustee for 3 years and currently as Secretary. I serve on committees such as Building and Grounds, Athletics and the District School Improvement Team.

I live in Maple River township. I have been married for 15 years. to my wife, Dianne and we have 2 children. Our daughter Tori is 11 years old and currently in 6th grade and son Andy is 6 years old and currently in 1st grade.

The reason I serve on the Board of Education is to try to offer whatever I can to the District and try to make it better.

Some of my achievments have included installation of security cameras, several Building and Grounds improvements as well as seeing Pellston become one of 43 Outperforming School Districts
by Standard & Poors!!

My greatest challenge while serving on Pellston Public Schools' Board of Education has been making the hard decisions for the good of the district, however, seeing the school succeed even in these times of financial hardships has been my greatest joy.

My goals for Pellston Public Schools is to learn and to make the district a safe and enjoyable place. Also to make Pellston the school of choice for parents.

My personal interests include being a member of the fire department., hunting, family and camping.
